What if my kids won't cooperate?
That's expected, not a problem. I've built my whole approach around working with real kids, not perfectly behaved ones. Some of the best photos I've ever taken happened right after a meltdown, once everyone relaxed again.
When will we get our photos?
Within approx. 1 week of your session you will receive your online gallery to choose your 3-15 high resolution images, depending on what portrait collection you choose. Your included images will receive beauty retouching.
I don't like my {insert body part}, can you help?
You are a beauty to everyone who sees you, but yes my photoshop skills extend to chins, stomacks, zits, stray hairs and more. Beauty retouching is included in your final 3-15 images.
What should we wear?
Something you feel like yourselves in — coordinated is nice, but matching isn't necessary. If you're unsure, send me a photo of what you're considering and I'll give you honest feedback before the day. I also have a Pinterest Board to send in your booking email for inspo.
What if it doesn't go how we planned?
Almost none of them do — and that's fine. I'm used to adjusting on the spot: changing locations, taking breaks, switching up the approach. My job is to make sure something beautiful comes out of it, plan or no plan.
Can we book if our kids are very young or neurodivergent?
Absolutely. I work at your child's pace, not the other way around — patience over performance, always. We can adapt to what is needed, and as long as you stay patient along with me we will capture some magic!

What to Expect
Portrait Day
It probably won't be perfectly smooth — and that's exactly how it should be.
- The kids won't cooperate right away. That's normal, not a red flag. Give it a few minutes.
- We'll take breaks when we need to. Pushing through a meltdown rarely gets a usable photo. A short reset usually does.
- I'll be a little silly. Snacks, funny faces, whatever gets a real laugh — I'm not above any of it.
- The best photos usually happen after the hard part. The genuine smile that sneaks through, once everyone's stopped performing — that's the shot I'm waiting for.
You don't need to manage any of this. Just show up. I'll handle the rest.
